Taco Salad and Sangria!
Lettuce, lean ground turkey, taco seasoning, salsa, green chillies, scallions, jalapenos, cherry tomatoes, red onion, grated cheese topped with reduced fat sour cream in a whole wheat tortilla that was baked and formed into a bowl!
My Sangria was made with pink lemonade, sparkling water, Shiraz from Spain with Strawberries, blackberries and orange slices.

On Vacation Meals.
Mom made me breakfast this morning! She just put together what’s left in the fridge since we’ve cleared it out ;)
She made a huge plate for me but she doesn’t realize that my stomach can’t take in all that food anymore. I need smaller portions. I couldn’t finish it all.
But…Breakfast was yummy.
Potatoes, mushrooms, onions, wieners (yes I know! but it was delicious), scrambled eggs, flat pizza bread with pesto and tomato and lastly watermelon and grapes.
This was my last Breakfast with mom before heading back to NYC but we are going to make a very yummy healthy dinner tonight! :)

Back to it!!!
I have been REALLY busy and a little off my “diet” and exercise the past 2 weeks but I am back to it!
Today is my first real day off in a while and I am motivated to do a million things right now.
1. Healthy wonderful breakfast. I am thinking avocado should be a part of it :)
2. Prep snacks and meals for the week. I already got a head start last night!
3. Clean my room and maybe change it all around. I think I will feel really good when it’s done.
4. Jog or go for a brisk walk? This is the first beautiful day that I have had on a day off in at least a month. I must take advantage of it. Maybe go out and take photos. Ooooh yes!
5. 30 Day Shred. LEVEL 3. I WILL DO THIS TODAY!
6. LAUNDRY. It’s a must and desperately needed.
Yep! Today is going to be a very productive day! I am excited!! :D

I lost 5 pounds this week!!!! :D
I think I have lost at least 15 pounds since I started my healthy journey 33 days ago.
This is just amazing and I feel amazing!! How do I celebrate this?

Lunch: Veggie burger Pattie with jalapeno, tomato and a fried egg on top.
Snacks: red pepper, cucumber, baby carrots, mozzarella and ranch dressing, Snapea crisps.
Dinner: Lemon and herb chicken thighs sided with oven-fried zucchini sticks. 2 ginger chocolate balls.
Drinks: Water, S.Pelligrino, Grande Non Fat Latte and one glass of red wine with dinner.
Total Calories: 1266

Calories burned: 250+ from exercise
